That's what I kinda thought (seeing the fluff).

What is the run line? and what kinda lap times are you turning?

the sprints are in th 10's sofar and the baja's high 9's to low 10's

run line I think is 375 I have heard a couple different number and haven't really checked it first hand it is plenty big enough and nice wide lanes around 30 ft

Thanks for posting the photos on the LQSS site. Great to see some dirt flying over there.
Just as a comparison, LQSS is what you guys term "a tight little bullring."
It's approx 280ft around the pole line and 22ft wide.
Provides VERY close racing.

hey everyone i ran up from okc last night to check you guys out and found out you changed your race days cause it was taking to long to run with the other guys 8>( got to see the track tho it looks really cool the girl at the gate told me you guys were running next sat tho so i might run up there and take a peek atcha

oops....sorry we weren't there....but atleast you got to look around...we are having a blast and have learned alot about the cars and track and tried some things(running with the karts)....and have some more guys getting and planning on getting sprints....so a couple more months and then we can regroup and be ready for next year now that we know what works and what don't.

i most likely will make the trip up again this weekend i have two mid 80s wcm sprinters one is a downtube frame the other one isnt im working on my buddy to get him to race the other one if i can get him up there im sure he will bite i wish we could get some to buy them in okc and start raceing them

how many cars are you getting right now

it has been 3 sprints....one guy is recovering from surgery but there is another car being built not sure if he will make it this weekend or not so 3-5 for now

and the baja's can be from 3 to 6

now we just got to hope the rain don't get us this weekend

Yes, It would be Herman. He bought my white car that I had at the dirt nats. He should have it Friday and be racing on Saturday or Sunday whatever day you run.:wave:

sorry i couldnt make it this weeknd but how did it go

both of the new cars made it out so we had 5 sprints....track was good and there was alot of good tight racing between Ray, Jason and myself all night....Ray won the feature

we will go again in 2 weeks on the 19th

sorry for the wasted trip Ray did post on the other thread(racetracks) were you asked if we were running that we had been rained out last friday night about 7:30 ish

also go to www.coodycreekspeedway.com that is the web site for the track it loads to the gokart pages but there is a link to the rc page which has a link the track forumn....anything important is posted there as soon as it is known and there is also phone numbers for the track owner and Darrell Davis the rc promotor

as of now the rain is over and we are a go for this weekend.....it is going to be a 250 lap main for the modifieds(baja's) and maybe a 100 lapper for the sprints...we will see....going to start at 6 instead of 7 since we are running extra laps....I will post up if anything changes....hope to see you...

Hi yea I survived snow and all..LOL....my car is getting lettered up this week and then I will finish it up so we can do alittle PR for Coody Creek and 1/4 scales on dirt at the R/C Chili Bowl going on during the Chili Bowl in a couple weeks....

What kind of PR do you have planned?

still working out the details but mainly a few tables with some cars set up both 1/4 sprints and a baja or two hopefully...I hope to have some pictures of the track and some of the racing shots also and a few of us talking about it to anybody that is interested.....:thumbsup:
