I didn't care for the shadowed racing tampos on the black one, so I de-"banditized"it ... It's got a new classy look .

I raised the rear end on both and did my best to Lummoxize the black steelies on the yellow one.

I really like the "new" Black Bandit. What are the wheels from and did you have a hard time removing the wheels due to the tight clearance?

I drilled out the "rivets" and separated the bodys from the chassis then basically swapped the two complete chassis between the two Galaxies. The NEW BLACK BANDIT's original black colored chassis is now under the yellow car..
I then swapped just the rubber sets around so that the "lettered" Firestone set ended up on the black steelies.

Dunno why, but I've allways like light yellow cars. It might be cool to get another one to de-vinyl the top...w/steelies too, of course!

I like the '66s... I'd love to see GL do a '69 or '70 Galaxie XL, and maybe a Mercury Marauder X100 of the same years.
