View Full Version : My frist Dash Motor Sports body
TJETDRAGRACER 05-24-2009, 01:44 AM I just got my first Dash Motor Sports body the other day,('69 Chevy Chevelle) I sat in on an Aurora chassis and it sat low in the front so with a quick fix I just added a spacer to the front post, Then added a set of mev rims with wierd jack's tires. I guess the extra $5.oo over and above the cost of a JL or AW Body is worth it after all. ~ It dose sill set a little high in the rear, but would have to shave some plastic out underneath of the trunk area to get it to set level.
roadrner 05-24-2009, 06:59 AM Nice looker! Now take her to the strip. :)

Funny though...
I spend all my time trying to LOWER the bodies.
Dyno Dom 05-24-2009, 10:00 AM Nice, clean work! The Dash bodies are great! :)
One of my top favorites in slot bodies is their Cobra.

Dyno Dom 05-24-2009, 12:38 PM 'Doba, Good lookin' Cobra, nice wheels. You need to take off
the chrome cover plate on exhaust side pipes. ;) The Dash Cobra in T-Jet
version is an improvement over the 289 Aurora & J/L bodies. The Dash
snap on Cobra body really brings out true look of the "427". :)
HadaSlot 05-24-2009, 12:48 PM The VW's are sweet. The vans are really nice. Gonna buy ten more.

twolff 05-24-2009, 01:41 PM How well does the Dash Avanti fit the Aurora and JL/AW chassis? Low enough? Wheel wells line up? Any room to slam?
bobhch 05-24-2009, 07:15 PM Great Barn Find and those MEV rims look perfect on that Red Chevelle!
Bob...that aint no grocery getter...zilla
roadrner 05-24-2009, 10:56 PM Can't go wrong with a Dash Body.:thumbsup: rr
Omega 05-26-2009, 10:20 AM I too love the Dash bodies. I need to check my list, but I think I have at least one of each body Dan has put out so far. I just picked up the Herbie VW Van, now I have all 3 herbies. Does anyone know what Dan is going to release next?
