One of the stores here has a new H.O. scale set marked down to $25. I was just wondering how the cars look and handle? Is it worth it? Do I want it?
thanks, Russell

They are fairly highly detailed and they move out pretty good. They could use a little weight on the front end or better magnets. They actually work best on their own track. The novelty of having brushes instead of metal shoes is intriguing too. I never had anything but good luck with them. I am using their controllers on my AFX sets. Very nice. For two-bits you can't go wrong. Let me know if you want more track. To answer your question, more than worth it. 1976Cordoba 05-23-2009, 10:19 PM Sure, why not? Variety is the spice of life. The MS Astons and Ferraris are both really nice bodies, too, if those are the sets. twolff 05-23-2009, 11:14 PM I got a pair of Aston Martins from DesertSlot. They haul azz on my Tomy track. Then I really looked at the bottom of the car and saw "12v". Oh, quite a bit more manageable. They are a tad on the bigger side of HO scale. Side by side on a Tomy track section, you can slip a sheet of paper between them. DesertSlot 05-23-2009, 11:24 PM Yeah, they are a little bigger. 12V? Never looked. No wonder they run better on their own track! Duh! roadrner 05-24-2009, 07:00 AM What, no pix? :) rr DesertSlot 05-24-2009, 07:54 AM Here are pictures of MS complete offering in the States. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v322/Davesx4/H%20O%20Slots/F430a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v322/Davesx4/H%20O%20Slots/F430.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v322/Davesx4/H%20O%20Slots/Aston1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v322/Davesx4/H%20O%20Slots/Aston.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v322/Davesx4/H%20O%20Slots/G2077FerrariF430ScuderiaEcosse_1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v322/Davesx4/H%20O%20Slots/G1042-Ferrari-GT-Box_1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v322/Davesx4/H%20O%20Slots/MaximumMayhem1.jpg micyou03 05-24-2009, 10:25 PM I have two MS cars, a Jag and the R/W/B Ferrari. There handling is similar to that of the Tomy Turbo, but quieter. I love them, and want to get more. DesertSlot 05-24-2009, 11:06 PM I have two MS cars, a Jag and the R/W/B Ferrari. I only sold mine to condense my stable. You can get more variety if you want from hobby shops in the UK.
