This was thrown in on with an order of JLs. I don't normally collect Matchbox so I am not familiar with the releases. The body is raw metal and has no details painted on (headlights/taillights unpainted). The base is chromed. Interior is black. I did a quick search of epay but didn't find any. Is this a regular release car? If it is, what series is it from? Any info would be appreciated. :confused:

It was released in a two car set I think it was MB first shots type set. The detailed one I have with mine is red with black striping.

Thats what it is. I have the set loose. The red painted one if very well done.

I have the set too. I love El Caminos. Nice find.

i checked my cars yours is definitely not in the 1997 inaugural set, but very similar in the first shot state
