I'm currently restoring this Corgi Ferrari 512 S. I stripped it and shot it with Tamiya white primer and Italian Red. This is the first coat of red, I might apply a second one before detailing. I still need to finish the interior and restore the glass. The wheels will be painted gold and the base "chrome"

I started using white primer myself in lue of gray all the time. Especially when trying to get Ferrari red. The gray just dulls the red down so much it looks maroon. Looking forward to seeing it finished. :thumbsup:

Still have to detail the interior and order some decals.
