Most any hobby shop or on-line place should have them. The balancer plugs are a 2mm bullet connector if I remember correctly. The other two are 4mm I believe. As to which to hook the sensor leads to. You would hook them to the positive and negative sides just like on a NiCD/NiMH.

You do know the GFX isn't a balancing charger right? To balance a pack with the GFX you'll need to get a balancer such as the Checkpoint balancer and use it in-line with the GFX.

Yes I am going to order balancer but on smc 5200 40c balance plug their
3 wires RED ,black and black. Do I hook sense leads to the outside wires
on plug red to red and black to black and leave middle black wire alone when
charging ?

the balance plug has a common negative the black in the middle the other two wires on the left and right are the positive of each cell..so hooking a lead onto the common ground (middle) and hooking a lead to either side (left/right) will give you the voltage of one cell or the other...

i think if you hook a lead to both outer wires it will give you the voltage of both cells..

the common sense r/c balancer is what most guys use now...

you can balnce each cell by charging each cell through the plug at low amperage also

My bad, I forgot that the SMC has a JST type balance connector on it. When you order the balancer it should come with everything you'll need to use it. I'd suggest the Equinox balancer for your needs as these come with the proper connector. I believe Danny from SMC has suggested hooking the voltage sensing leads right to the battery wires (+ and -) when charging (not using the balance plug). I charge my Reedy pack (which has the same type of connectors) with the voltage sense leads hooked to the Deans connector coming from my Equinox balancer. I don't worry about the minute voltage the connectors are going to lose. Katfish is right if you hook to both outside wires on the balance plug it will give you the full voltage of the pack.
