hot wheels has phizzazz though, most of the time, match box just has... realism... and if you want realism you can just go to 1:43 scale... i guess most match boxes are boring.

Opinions abound here. MB's are far from boring IMO. I love the realism Matchbox offers for a buck. When I'm thinking of the real cars and want to check out my collection for the casting I don't go to HW because they rarely get the cars right. Pizazz just allows HW to fudge on the castings and get away with it. Plus, not everything needs a flame job. when HW does realistic pieces with minimal tampos they always get great reviews. To each his own, though. I find a lot to like from both lines. I would definitely love to see an old replica milk delivery truck from MB.

Matchbox may just go for this idea - they have a British van (Mini) and a eurovan (VW Caddy) so now they need an all American van and what better choice than a casting that contrasts with an existing Hotwheels - recent matchbox offerings of the same cars already cast by HW generally turn out superior, so bring it on Mattel:wave:
