Hey all, I bought some used equipment from a friend that got out of RC and he included these 3 other cars in the deal as well. I need help figuring out what cars these are!

Can anyone help in figuring out what cars these are? The one on the left is a gas car that looks pretty new. The center and right car are older cars for sure, but just want to know what they are! Thanks for any help you can offer.

The middle on is a racetech g-force, the one on th right looks like an old trinity car with some modifications done to it. I don't know what the gas car is.

It appears that the gas car might be a Hyperdrive HK-4300T nitro kit. I have managed to do a little research this morning and it looks like that may be it.

Can anyone possibly confirm that?

Yeah the trinity car is the Switchblade 2. I had 1 of those. hardest car I ever had to set up. And to think I sold my HPI RS 10 GO for that thing. It was never a day too soon that I bought my first L 3

the middle car is a revolution...it was kind of a copy of the g-force. David at the hobby connection built those for the rtr class there

The car on the right is the original switchblade, the SB 2 had purple specked graphite. I went undefeated for a year with one of those on the high banks at K&N in Connecticut.

Nick is right the middle car is a rev. carbon fiber upgrade, the rev. rtr is made of G-10

Thanks Nick, I do remember him telling me that it came from there. I think he used to run the spec. class there with it.

Is it worth putting a few dollars into and getting it Sportsman ready as a backup?

Your right about the SB not being a SB 2. For some reason I had it in my head that SB 1 had the funky front end on it. The one that was on the Evo 10

two silva side shocks, a hyperdrive center shock mount, a couple of ball studs, 21.5 motor and speedo and your ready to go. robby black ran one in sportsman for a while. You have to think outside the box on some tunning options but it can and will be done.

The kit came with both front ends, the newer Switchblade design (shown in pics) and the Evo front end. The Evo front end took alot of work to get right, but once you did it was real fast.
