Good morning, I bought the Scalextric Trans Am T3 set (C1091) back in '05. My wife and I played with the set once or twice......but we just don't have the room now to race larger scale slots. The set is complete with box,paperwork,cars,track and even the shipping carton. Everything is lightly/gently used........what's a fair price to sell this set for?

I found this Ebay auction.....and even though the set listed is new....$399 sounds like an insane price:

I'd like to sell my set.....but I don't want to rip anyone off....and I obviously don't want to short change myself either. I'll shoot pics of my set tonight and have a post in the buy/sell/trade section tonight.

I've been away from the hobby for a couple of years.....so obviously I'm out of the loop on values.

I have been dabbling in 1/32nd for a few months now and I know Lakotacollectables is always the most expensive sellers on ebay, if not "thee" most expensive. (he is a decent guy and I buy parts from him and his show prices are better then his ebay prices).

What did you pay for it? It is used. I would sell for about what I bought it for. give or take a few bucks, more likely "lose" a few bucks as neither of the cars are really rare and scalextric track doesn't sell like carrera track.

Actually, both cars WERE set exclusive...and from what I'm hearing pretty desired....sometimes fetching close to $100 per car.

I paid right at $200 for the set on sale back in '05 ...... I was thinking somewhere in the ballpark of $175 shipped perhaps.... but I may consider some trading for electric guitar stuff.
