Where can I find US ambulances in 1/43-1/48, from the 50's-70's?
Also, they should not cost an arm and leg. Not trying to impress anyone just looking for some that would look good on a train layout.
LMK, Thanks

Have you seen the Brooklin 1/43 handbuilts? - not too much $ for what you get:
1950 Packard Henney ambulance
1954 Studebaker Ambulet
Brooklin Models (http://www.brooklinmodels.co.uk/) are available from many sources.
and of course the Cadillac I just posted below!
DINKY Superior Cadillac #288, made in England, ~1976

Is financing available for the Brooklin model, LOL.
I feel the ambulance's are way under produced as compared to the numerous police and fire vehicles available.
Thanks for the info. I do like the Dinky.

1/43-1/48 scale is not too popular in the US, which is why you can't find any 1950s ambulances. What 1/43 US cars DO you have on your layout? Yatming made some cheap ones. You know what they say - beggars can't be choosers. :(

I have about everything but Brooklin brand.
Been hunting for O scale compatible vehicles for many years.
I do have several Yatming.
