I got a GT40 #6 Clear today. I must say I am a little disappointed. But not much. I was supposed to be getting the GT40 #2 SRT. The guy either sent me the wrong one or substituted. Okay by me. The disappointment was discovering that the "interior" is just a piece of cardboard! I don't think I'll be spending the extra money on clears. I'd rather put it in tires.

Considering the space under the body cardboard is all that would fit. I think the clear windows regardless of the interior make for a much nicer looking race car over the painted black windshield.

My only gripe about the cardboard interior is that it is that of an empty car! I would have like to have seen a strapped in driver printed on there!

Yeah, you are right about the space. The clear windows are cool. Even w/o the cardboard it would be cool. Like the old pancakes where you can see the gears. I didn't take out the cardboard but you could probably see the motor in there. I never liked the drivers. I think I was jealous of them!

When they first came out, I actually thought that it was a lexan interior. Over time, I would think you'd start having issues with a paper based interior.

I like the new cars, but a driver would have been nice. Lexan would have been a better choice, but .....

They seem to listen to suggestions.Maybe they will put a driver in the next release.The clear and Mega's look so good and they fly.Tom
