I allways enjoyed 1/12 scale oval, back in the day, but it died in the midwest years back. I was just wondering if anyone would run it now with 1cell lipo and brushless motors.:wave:

Yes, I have heard and read about racing back east and at some big events. But herre in the midwest on mostly carpet tracks, nothing. Not that we need more classes to dilute the class numbers or the shops to stock more parts. I just loved those quick and nimble cars, I think that with 1cell lipo's and a mediom wind brushless motor the class would be fun and competitive. A 13.5 motor, no wing, and 1cell batterys would keep the class simple yet fast enough.

I would absolutly love to run 12th scale oval with single cell lipo, but here in South Dakota, nobody runs pan cars except for on road. When I ask about oval, they look at me like I am a criminal.
I think 12th scale single cell with a 13.5 would be a blast.

Mr. McCallister isn't replying to you because, well...he hasn't run at our track since we went to the 1 cell.:) He talks about it alot:rolleyes: (ask him about the top 10 list) Plus, we run 12th scale on a road course and not oval as you had originally asked. We do run 10th scale 1 cell on the oval. The track is Speeder's Hobbies in Lexington, Ky. Here's a link to the webpage. track info and photo's are in there somewhere. http://www.speedersonline.com/
