This year they had to get the home depot car ... they did

Home depot is the biggest sponsor that was not in the show. NASCAR would have proved me or at least my thoughts wrong and put the 12 car in the show (I did not vote for the 12 car I voted for the 00)

Anyone know where to find the actual numbers from the fan vote?

I would be interested in seeing these results just to get an idea of who is gaining or dropping in popularity.(I usually go for Waltrip or Kenny Wallace but their act is stating to go from funny to annoying to me)

Ahead of Junebug, Jimmie Johnson, Clint Boyer, Jamie McMurray, Bobby Labonte, Kevin Harvick... and so on.

The fact that he got the 20 ride had more to do with circumstance
than anything else. He was targeted to run the NNS, for JGR,
until Tony decided to run his own program..

NASCAR is trying to appeal to the youth market, so put the youngest driver in the race.

Joey Lagono is more like "Sliced toast". Highly overrated. Let's wait until next year and see what those "sliced bread fans" will be saying. I don't see that many fans voting for him in the all star fan vote. I guess Home Depot's check cleared just before the race started. I thought that Almindinger or Reutaman would have won the fan base.

It very well might have been Home Depot who "Fixed the Voting". Home Depot has over 350,000 employees and according to a good friend of mine who works for Home Depot virtually every store had a notice posted by the time clocks asking/reminding employees to go to nascar.com and Help Vote Joey into the All Star race.
Good marketing in my opinion, everyone had a chance to vote for their favorite just because yours did,nt get in doesent mean it was "Rigged" by anyone.

the fan vote results are right beside nascars list of banned drugs......no one will see them because they don't really exist. Nascar is quickly going downhill, about as fast as it gained popularity

I work for the "Orange Box" as well. Every day on the main page of our computers (approx. 40 in every store) there was a direct link to "Vote for Joey". What's wrong with that? NOTHING at all!!!!

If you had those kind of resources and you were a sponsor, you'd do the same. We love Nascar Racing and probably spend more $$$$ supporting Nascar than any other single sponsor does.

I am a HD fan but Tony is still my favorite driver and my friends say thank goodnesss you are wearing "old Spice" LOL!!!

I'd say that is a matter of understanding what they are trying to accomplish...
Right now, the most important thing for Logano to do, in the cup series,
is log a LOT of laps..
There is no testing, so he came in at a bad time, compared to drivers past.
He's going to a lot of places for the first time... ever..
You won't learn much if you wad up a bunch of cars, and watch the rest of
the race from the garage. You learn nada..
They want to FINISH the races, so that the next time
they go back to these places, and especially when they go back next year,
they have laps, and data for all these tracks.
The new car requires quite a learning curve.

If you look at what he is doing in the NNS, he is currently 4th in points,
despite running one less race than the rest of the top 5...
and has the best average finish of all drivers.
He isn't trying to learn the NNS cars.
Don't be fooled by his mediocrity in the cup series.
There is a method to this.
And to those that think his talent is overrated, you will have to
reconsider your thoughts in the future, I promise you..
No offense to any of you, but I'm going to pay more attention to guys
that race in that series, or are in the biddness,
that think he is the real deal...

Lagono is talented but he is coming into Cup at the wrong time with no testing allowed. Just bad timing,with the Stewart move-Even Dale Jr., Stewart and othere "matured" in Busch or truck for a few years.(with Zippy rumored to join Stewart Haas in the future that won't help either)

In my opinion he will win Cup races but almost definately not this season and probably not 2010 or even 2011.

I am waiting to see him run Indy in July as he has no experience there and Indy is a different world from other tracks. Joe Gibbs racing has 3 wins at Indy, 2 with the 20 team in the last 4 years,so the combination of Lagono's inexperience and the #20 teams success should be interesting.

I voted ROBBY GORDON , BILL ELLIOT and the 43 Car about 200 times each.

they should make it to where you can only vote once per person to make it more fair, but then again how you going to police it, most people will use a different sign on then vote again..
