Well after my '68 El Camino project was done I couldn't resist trying it out in the mud. ~ Built from an ~ Auto World '68 El Camino on an Aurora truck chassis, and with reproduction chrome rim's. ~ "Thinking out side of the of the Track" ~ Not a true 4X4 Chassis, I am not that talented. LOL

How did you get the body lowered so close to the big tires?

I sanded the wheel wells with sand paper raped around a double "A" battery, And added spacers to the post.

I forgot, To say that it was real mud that I mixed up and not painted on. As you can see in the last pic I washed all the dirt & mud off for a better pic of the car. ~ And I have a new pic of an Aurora t-jet truck chassis that I added a set of reproduction set of chrome rim to. Now I just need a t-jet wrecker body to put on it.

Very cool! The Camino came out really nice. I'll bet the wrecker will be nice too.
