The seller is buzz83 on here. That HAD to be a goof up on his part; probably typed in $13.00 instead of $130.00 by accident and it sold before he could change it. Let's see if it is honored or ends up relisted.

Buzz,

Sorry to see that happen. Hopefully the buyer will work this out with you.
I am sure you purchased cases to get that car so that would be a painful price to sell it at. Who was the buyer?

Yeah - that's a boo boo. I think you are almost forced to sell under the Bay rules, regardless of the error. Nice piece though...........

I bought a BIN for a GM for 7.99 once. It was not listed as a GM. Someone must have e-mailed the seller and said that it was a GM. He E-mailed me and asked if I would drop out of the sale as he "wanted to re-list it as a GM since he had the good fortune of getting one". I said no. He went through with the sale, after a few choice words.

This one is different, Buzz made a Typo. Good Luck Buzz.

Gerald -

The rules don't really address typo versus mistake etc. I know Ebay is strict when it comes to addressing this type thing. It was not their fault or the buyers fault so I believe he will be stuck with honoring it or giving the buyer the option to refuse the purchase - the later I am sure is not likely.

Unfortunately, in the end it is lesson learned. Least it isn't life threatening......

wow, sorry buzz. If it would have been me, I would have backed out of the sale. That was obviously a typo.

That is a mistake,...both from the seller and the buyer. You make a mistake listing it, and the buyer takes it away. That's how it goes sometimes. When that happens the seller should see if the buyer minds, but if the buyer minds, sell it, and move on, is the best result.
