Wow.. Love the suit !!
Thank you Mike, I wasn't too keen on the (IMHO)1970s sports commentator leisure suit look so I've tried to get more of an Edwardian effect.

Excellent job on the pinstripe suit  Cool color choices on the books and beakers too...I'm guessing you are looking forward to Frankenstein and the Mummy as I am, as nothing of any interest to me was announced this weekend at WF...The Invisible Man is a Great kit and you did a Great job on it

Thanks for kind comments,
Yup, I agree, I too would have preferred the continuation of 1/8th styrene figures. Am really wanting those two new Universal monsters!!!

That is so cool. Like everyone else has, I have to comment on the suit... Really different and incredibly well done, as is the rest of the kit.

Since no one else has inquired, I have to ask: How? How did you get that pinstripe look? It's so clean and precise...

Again, great job.

Alex.

Nice build Longbox! And like Alex asked, how did you get such nice and even pinstripes?

Hi,
Thanks For the kind comments, the pinstriping was done by painting the suit with Revell AquaColor 'Tar Black' then the stripes were applied with 2.5mm masking tape from Jammydog leaving as small a gap for the stripes as I could. I then brushed over with Revell AquaColor 'Rust'. I had some seeping under the tape, which I brushed over with the tar black to tidy it up.
I really appreciate the encouragement, feels like I'm not on my own with this stuff.

Definitely a primo build, I echo everyones opinion of the suit  never tried that "negative" technique, but it sure turned out nice. Gonna have to think about trying it now. The glassware is another high point for me, nicely done!!

Great work, especially the suit and the books/glasware: pretty much everything, in other words!

How did you paint this, airbrush or standard brush?
