I will be at the fairgrounds ALL day and into the night on Thursday May 21st and Friday May 22nd for the May 23 race at Washtenaw RC Raceway.
As always if you would like to come and help, it will be GREATLY appreciated.
The track layout will be very simple with WIDE lanes.
This is the warm up race for the event on the NEXT weekend May 30th.
The Convergence Education Foundation Mini Innovative Vehicle Design Fun Run
On the 23rd. CEF have converted Nitro Truggies to Electric and will be having a competition and award ceremony in buildings C and D then come out and race against each other in their own class at the Fun Run in Building F.
All entries are $10 for the May 23rd race.
It is my opportunity to say thanks and good bye to all the racers who have supported my efforts at Washtenaw all these years and an opportunity for you to meet the new owner of Washtenaw James (Memo) Raupp.
Help by being a judge for the CEF event. (Contact me if you are interested)
Also I could use some help with event coordination. Helping point the teams in the right direction, Making sure every one is on the right frequency, ect, ect. If you would like to volunteer for that, please contact me.
Place your vote for Racers Choice in their Concourse event.
Cheer them on as they participate in a timed slalom couse in Building D and an Accleration and Braking event in Building E early in the day, finishing up with a Wheely contest in Building E just before the awards ceremony. And then they will join you in the Fun Run later in the day
Local RC Racers will run 3 qualifiers and a Main, CEF will join in in the second round of qualifying and the mains.
Come and Join the fun!!! Your help and participation will be greatly appreciated. it will be an opportunity to introduce 10 teams from all over Michigan to our great hobby.
On May 30th. Come out and show the CEF group how great all Michigan RC Racers are.
