I'm starting collecting the TF toys back in 2005. I still remember that moment when I first see the Optimus Prime MP-4 Masterpiece model. This is the toys that triggered me to be the TF collector. I did buy some TF toy before but NOT for collecting that is for my son end up all those toys are in a pieces.
Most of my collection in nice looking (robot/vehicle) in both modes. The most favorite model is from Masterpiece, I’ve MP-4, MP-3 US version and MP-5.

Would like to share some of my collection here. This blog still in progress I start with Optimus Prime first and will add more collection to it. As for now most of the photo not from me but some yes from my toys, I will add more of my own photo in future. Take a look….

I have a few toys from when I was a kid and started collecting newer ones recently. I even went to the convention in Toronto.

Yes, I've been collecting Transformers since mid-1984. I have no idea how many I have in total, but I can see about 150-200 of them from where I'm sitting right now. I'm also building a set of ~1/24 scale models based on the "automobile" TFs, and have about 30 or so complete at the moment.

Transformers are awesome. And is it just me or are the ones from the latest movies harder to transform then the ones from the 80's? I must be getting old.

I don't think it's age, the new ones are a lot more complex than the originals. Which in some ways is a good thing - G1 Sunstreaker had a whopping two points of articulation (his elbows). He's a pretty extreme example, though....I think G1 Jetfire (aka Bandai's Macross Valkyries) can stand next to any modern TF figure with pride.

Good examples. I remember jetfire was a pretty complex transformer back when he came out. Interesting remake of him in the latest movie. Some of the triple changers (astrotrain, ect.) where kinda complex. I forget the name but there was a six changer ,I think, that was very complex that came out towards the end of the 80's/90's run.
