This model was made in the mid '60's by Dinky Toys when they were under control of the Lines Brothers group who used Tri-ang as their trading name. This model and five others in this series were made in Hong Kong and aimed at the NA market. The series has more Spot-On about them than Dinky. They were advertised as 1:42nd scale - the Spot-On scale. Plus they were fitted with 'Flexomatic' suspension - Spot-on's system! Dinky never had a name for their suspension system. The model also has opening bonnet and boot.
