After about 6 weeks, my Seaview (my first non-figure kit) is nearing completion. I've thoroughly enjoyed building it and if I can keep from messing up the final steps, I think it's going to look fairly good. Trouble is, without lights, you just can't see the interior (not with these, ahem, middle-aged eyes anyway). Just didn't think I could manage one of the elaborate light kits. I was going to just leave the nose cap loose, but even without it, you can't really see that much detail. All this to ask, does anyone know of an easy way of installing a light for the control room at this point. I'm afraid the hull is pretty much together except for the FS bay piece on which the control room sits. Thanks and my apologies for taking so long to explain this.

Are the rear tail fins attached? I put a small strand of led christmas lights in mine...Just wrap the bulbs you don't need...I use the removable tail fins to access the battery box...
Send me a PM I'll talk you through it or we can dig up some pics for you

I am a first time builder but I went really simple and used 1 LED light located behind the helm control out of sight, its not pretty but it works well. good luck with yours.

I don't have any advice, but I like your work, very good first time builder or not!
