Superbird77 05-09-2009, 07:18 AM Currently, I have some race cars on display. I really dream of a glass or plexi cabinet.

You are so lucky in the USA having wall mounted interlocking clear plastic display boxes for both 1/64 and 1/43 scales available cheaply - not really an easy option for us in europe.
I hope some more members will share their displays - I expect to see a lot of individual display compartments from collectors here and I suspect that I am in a tiny minority in choosing to display my toys in a 1970s toyshop inspired way........
PWSchuh 05-09-2009, 10:48 PM I display many of them on glass shelves inside wooden cases (unboxed). But all of my rally cars are in their boxes displayed on shelves, and most of my TV/Movie are in original boxes and displays in a cabinet.

I think it looks good.
As long as you don't have to dust them.
I have china cabinet that my Mom had plates and such in it. Now I use it to display cars.
What's nice about it is that I can change things around to what I feel like showing. Right now I have Indy 500 pace cars in it.
scrambler81 05-13-2009, 07:44 AM These aren't great pics, but you'll get the idea. The right side of this display in now all 1/43 Matchbox Collectibles, with the exception of the McDonald's 1/50 Matchbox.

This is some type of jewelry display, but it works great for 1/43. It's two sided, and it spins on it's base.

I have a bunch of others that are just stuck in where they fit, often mixed in with other size cars.
kneedeep56 05-13-2009, 09:56 AM I luv those old Ford and Chevy pickups
Thanks for posting your pics. :)

That light blue 1970 next to the #15 car is quite rare. I believe it is a Matchbox Platinum Edition car.

69Stang 05-16-2009, 01:11 AM It's so hard to get a good photo with the mirror backing, but I will post the best I could do. This 36 car case is my main 1:43 display, though I have a few more in other display cases arounf the room. I will tag those in a bit later.
I have really enjoied all the pics fellows! Thanks for all the photo's and keep them coming!

dragonhead00 05-16-2009, 02:07 AM Nice displays, all! I wish I could display mine, but alas, no room. Mine remain entombed.
kneedeep56 05-16-2009, 10:13 AM Great stuff and great pictures guys

I luv your Silk Cut Jag, BMW V12 LMR, Chapparal, Rothmans Porsche etc. What a great collection. :)
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that Silk Cut Jaguar going to be released by Kyosho in 1/64 in September? Is that the XJR9?
Wish I could display mine - oh well, my 1/43 collection doesn't come close to what you guys have shown here - Great stuff, Thanks for posting
