I thought I had them all and now I find this purple one...well, back to the hunt!! PWSchuh 05-09-2009, 10:50 PM It's just a repaint in what I think is a color the real car was never painted? 69Stang 05-10-2009, 07:52 AM Ahhhh, then in that case, i'm still allright! I do not chase repaints or fantasy releases. Thanks for the heads up! ECchopper 05-11-2009, 11:00 AM Ward, there were 3 releases, 6 cars in each. The second release was repaints of the first, but the third release was all new cars. I could type up a list if you need it. 69Stang 05-11-2009, 08:46 PM I have every one I have ever seen (12 different in all) but I have never seen a repaint untill this thread. So it cought me off guard! I guess they just never came to my part of the world. But all 12 I have are correct to the attached photos cards, so I must have gotten lucky! Dadvball 05-12-2009, 11:46 AM Thanks Rob. How long ago was the 3rd set available? I found the first set years ago in Target while on vacation in California. When we got back to the airport in RI I had Brandon (about 8-9 at the time) hold the bag while I got the luggage. Wasn't until we got home I realized he no longer had the bag, which had a few other things in it, and left it in the airport. Needless to say someone else went home with my goodies. Anyway, it took quite awhile to find them again, but I never did see the third set. Only reason I bought any of the repaints was for the motors when they started showing up at Big Lots. ECchopper 05-14-2009, 10:09 AM Bill, the third release came out in 2004, but I wasn't buying them back then. I also bought release 2 at Big Lots, and some for customs. And then I went and found some on the bay. I still "need" 5 cars from the first release, and 2 from the third. juantoo3 08-28-2009, 01:10 PM Bill, the third release came out in 2004, but I wasn't buying them back then. I've been going through my collection, thinking about thinning the herd a little. I didn't realize earlier that there were 3 rounds, turns out I've got just the one repaint of the '67 camaro from series 2. But I do have a few extras of the 1st and 3rd series. LMK if you might still be looking for these. I might even consider trades for the series 2 cars I'm missing. juantoo3 09-01-2009, 03:59 PM OK, I'm gonna try this image uploading thing, so be patient if it doesn't work for me: http://prettyneatstuff.biz/uploaded/radF9974muscle+machines+super+chevy+006.jpg6.jpg If this worked it should be an image of the first series of Super Chevys. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
