As many of you know I am an event producer by trade, and addicted diecast collector by night

I am finally doing what many of you have been asking of me for years - Its on August 29th 2009 at the Farm Show complex in Harrisburg PA, the ultimate hobby expo dedicated to Automotives,

More than 200 vendors selling and trading today's and yesterday's finest diecast collectibles
Pin striping contests
Customs contest
Automotive art contests
RC competitions (Electric) off and on road
automobilia from tin signs to apparel to catalogues if it has to do with cars you will find it at Hobbyrama
and lest not forget some of the finest Hot Rods, Classics and Modern Muscle 1:1 scale rides on display as well

Still some table room left.

Hey everyone this show is growing to be an enormous event. Besides some
amazing diecast content HOBBYRAMA will also includes, Rock Crawling and
Off Road tracks ,Slot car racing, Gravity racing, drag racing, Battle
machines competition, simulators and a 1:1 scale display of custom cars
stretching across all genres of automotives.

The event coordinators have announced that the first 50 pre registered
diecast table dealers will receive an exclusive M2 Event Diecast Pink
Mustang as well. That leaves only 15 or so spaces still available.

More than 10,000 fliers have been distributed; we have print ads running
in Harrisburg Magazine, RC Driver, RC Crawler, York Gazette, and Lees Toy
Review. We have partners with 3 major radio stations 105.7 the X 98.5 the
peak and 95.1 the Mix who are allall doing ticket give always leading to
36+ commercials the week before the show. We also have a billboard going
up the week before the show in part with Budweiser on a main highway

Some Additional updated details.

On Friday August 28th those who want to register on site will be able to
do so in the Farm Show Expo Hall between 3pm and 9pm. By pre registering
on site Friday or for those who registered on line by picking up your
wristbands Friday you will also receive a free parking pass saving you an
additional $8.00

For those who can't make it down Friday; Saturday MORNING registration
will be available between 8am and 10am ONLY!

All event participants will be receiving wrist bands for in and out access
of the venue though there will be plenty of concessions all day and night.
Budweiser will be served as well

We are still looking for about 12 custom classics or muscle cars to
display within the venue as well, if you own a custom car and would like
to show it in the event please get in touch with Andy at andy@agoodman.net

I'll be there on Saturday Morning!! I saw the ad in RC Driver... driving up from Virginia... can't wait! Hopefully can get my hands on some of the new M2 muscle cars...

Is it just me or would that M2 chase car looked so much better with pink tires?

I want to thank all that showed up and made this a great 1st year for this event. Keep an eye out for future events to come. We are trying to create a show on the mid east cost for all to enjoy. Thanks again.

I hope the show was a success and that they decide to continue next year. I was going to come out but this weekend was a bit hectic and I would have felt bad leaving the family for the whole day. We are house sitting for the wife's parents while they went out of town for a family emergency and they have 3 very spoiled dogs that need constant supervision. (and we get to be there until Thursday. yay) I want to see what RC rock crawling is all about. Sounds kind of slow but interesting.
