I mentioned this in my intro post, but perhaps this is a better place to put it.

I picked up an ERTL Plymouth Prowler back in '96, and kept it displayed on a shelf for many years. The original packaging is gone. Sometime later, I discovered a misprint stamped into the underside of the body. It says:

"PRODUCED UNDER LICENSE BY ERTL @ CHRYSTLER CORPORATION 1995"

I'm curious if this model is worth much. It's still in excellent shape - just no box. Does anybody have an idea? Since I'm so new, I can't post a picture, but it's in the photo albums.
Thanks!

A one time they were selling up to about $100, but the prices have dropped. We had 2 cases of 6 at our store when they first were released. I remember Ertl stopping production and changing to the correct spelling when they realized the mistake. I'm looking at one of our unsold ones as I'm typing this.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that I had something rare, but it appears not. At least it's a neat looking model.

Thanks again!

considering they stopped producing the misspelled version, then yes... its cool to collect factory mistakes.
