Yes, people actually build models of the rail attractions at the various Disney Parks:

Bachmann even makes an HO model of Walt's ride-on live steamer, the Carolwood Pacific set.

For my WDW photography web site, one of my high-priority goals for my next trip is to get some good shots of the Walt Disney World Railroad. But interesting angles accessible to guests are limited.

SSB,
WDW has a "Behind the Steam" tour. There's a thread about it on the Burnsland board, on the WDW RR forum.
Where is your WDW website?

Where is your WDW website?I've heard of the "Magic Behind Our Steam Trains" tour. Along with the "Keys to the Kingdom" tour, it's one I hope to do one day. I understand that you're given some actual photo ops during the tour; it sounds great. I've heard good things from those who've taken the tour.
My site offers photos for sale, so I'm not sure I can post it here -- I'll send you a PM.

Just a heads-up: Dave Fletcher stopped by the site, and posted some pics of his fabulous Mason Bogie builds! See the "Customizing DLRR #3 and #5" thread, in the Modeling forum.
