Scale and colourwise I like the Corsair best towing this caravan.However,as a child, my brown Cortina was my favourite tow car.
This pink caravan of mine spent so long at the bottom of a toybox that it has the impression of a regular wheel in the centre of the roof........I like the yellow better than the pink these days and i wonder why Lesney stuck with blue for the interior......

I can't believe I remember this....
I actually remember when I got this piece as a kid. My mother brought me to the dentist downtown (either for a checkup or a filling). Afterward, we went to the hobby shop (still in business) and I was allowed to pick out a Matchbox (for a whopping 55 cents). If only I saved the cardboard box...:)

I had one as a kid also Mark, I bought this one as a replacement for my used and abused original :thumbsup: and it came with a mint box.

There was 23a, 23b, 23c plus Superfast 57b which you have shown here in its late 1970s two pack colours -each caravan appeared in 2 different basic colours with your 57b being either cream or lemon yellow
