Easy restore project on the Dinky Toys 25H Streamlined Fire Engine (1939). Axles and base encrusted with almost 70 years of rust, so a vinegar bath should take care of that.

Just needs a good repaint and wash the tires.

Already received the repro-tin ladder and bell... so an easy restore.

Those are so ugly as to be charming! Any idea what chassis maker built the 1:1 version and is this a european or US prototype?

Considering they're Dinky Toys they're more likely to be British...
