hookie 05-04-2009, 04:49 PM Hello troopeur, In this picture you can see the differences between Konami and Kyosho. (Nissan skylines two versions).
As you can see there are very similar, no big differences between both brands, only to say (not visible in picture) that konami cars has suspension.
The display case is similar too to kyosho items, plastic blister (not rigid).
The other picture shows a konami Toyota 3000 GT (my favourite Konami).
Regards.
troopeur 05-04-2009, 04:59 PM nice cars konami do a good job
the Toyota 2000 GT is one I have on my vintage list
Thank for your answer
Atencio 05-04-2009, 09:17 PM I have about 7 Konami's. Mine came in packaging similar to the individual packing of Kyoshos but were stapled closed.
I think they as nice as Kyoshos and I have a hard time telling them apart when they are sitting on a shelf.
theArchitect 05-04-2009, 10:49 PM got a few Konamis too, love their choice of models & they have great details.
That Toyota 2000GT is killer!
Kotetsu 05-05-2009, 02:07 AM Konami's quality is top notch and they do produce some older and harder to find Japanese cars. I'll take some pictures of mine when I get back home later in the week.
troopeur 05-05-2009, 07:37 AM thank .
Konami look nice I think i'll order few of them.
kneedeep56 05-05-2009, 11:26 AM I picked up a couple at the Flea Market a few weeks back.
Not something I usually collect but just surprised the heck out of me they were even there.

I guess you just never know where or when something will show up. :)
Thanks for looking, Denis
Superbird77 05-05-2009, 04:49 PM I have the same Silvia as in the above picture... it's the only Konami I own.
Although it has painted interior (not all-black as Kyosho), I'm not too impressed. Working suspension feels somehow cheap and the model as a whole doesn't feel as solid as Kyosho. But that's really very subjective opinion based on only one model I own.
Kotetsu 05-05-2009, 07:14 PM Wow, very nice finds for a trip to the flea market. In fact, I've never seen any Japanese 1/64 die-cast (Kyosho, Konami, Tomica, etc) even at toy shows. The internet have always been my only source.
troopeur 05-08-2009, 10:33 AM I think I'll buy few konami , I want the Mazda Cosmos sport , toyota 2000GT , 300ZX and skyline
