Guys,

I have three more test shots of the Generic Resin Bases that I described in my first thread, http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=250730. This time I tried using a "slush coat" of resin to get the details and filled that with resin foam. The contours of the bases came out like the others, but I'm not happy with using the foam, for operational reasons I won't go into here.

Two of the bases are entirely foam filled, and as such I would strongly recommend supporting them on a 9" X 12" wood craft plaque. The bottom of the third base is an attempt to use leftover cured foam filled with resin, so it's a sturdier piece. This whole process has decided me to cast the production run of these bases in solid resin mixed with a filler.

For now the terms on these bases will be the same as the first batch, $10.00 plus $4.95 for shipping within the US (in a USPS large Priority Mail envelope). Outside the country we'll calculate the shipping based on where you are. Again, these bases are a deal, because they're test shots; the regular runs of them will be priced higher.

Some of you have already gotten these bases and know what they're like, but if anybody else has any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for looking!
