Picked this large vehicle up in 1981 in Denmark. I had given up on the Dinkys of the time, due to the speedwheels mostly. But I could not pass this one up. Got Chris' Foden at the same time (but no special Foden version was issued for DK)! The Foden as Chris just showed in this post (http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=253648) has much better wheels and suspension. :)

Was it an official Falck souvenir or did it come from a regular toyshop?

Regular toy shop, left over stock from the mid to late 1970s - Dinky made 4 or 5 of their regular fire / rescue vehicles in FALCK decals. This one has a different colour combination as well.

Dinky made these at least in red with Falck labels : Berliet turntable truck,ERF pumper,Landrover pumper & towtruck versions, Ford Transit firetruck and probably the AEC Merryweather too although my memory is rusty with this one..........

Incredible for me that one of these has turned up here today :) Mine is not as nice as Karl´s minter and its missing the rear door too but then condition only matters when I have more than one to choose from :wave:
