This Dinky Toy is from the mid to late '70's and has been in my collection for 30 years. I decided to take it along on an outdoor shoot. What impressed me was that the amount of play in the axle mounting when the vehicle was traversing rough terrain. One thing to note is that it is in 1:42nd scale and not the weedy 1:50th scale that is usually associated with model trucks. The model # is 668 and features opening cab doors, drop down tail gate and removable tilt.

You are welcome kneedeep56 and I agree it is a gem. There seems to be interest now in the last Dinky issues after a long time of being ignored.

Cheers Chris

I agree here Karl, this one is a forgotten gem. I have seen the full size versions of this lorry and this Dinky is an accurate replica.

Cheers Chris
