Since MOST places opened the rules to allow ALL brushless Speed Control Brands HOW many of the "OTHER" brands are being used for OVAL?

We know that NOVAK, LRP and TEKIN are being run...

What about LOSI, SPEEDPASSION, Team WAVE, KO ProPo/Orion, other?

The TEAM WAVE sounds like it's got some interesting features, as does the SpeedPassion GT, we've got some locals using the LOSI who love it, and I see a LOT of the On-Road racers out here running the KO/Orion unit.

I run a SpeedPassion GT LPF v.2. And I love it. Very easy to change values and settings at the track, with out dragging my laptop out. Ran it with 4cell-19t, 4cell-17.5, 4cell-13.5, 1cell lipo-13.5, and 1cell lipo-10.5 this winter in a pan car, worked great everytime, now it's in my dirt-oval car for some 2cell lipo-10.5. Kevin

i am not sponored by tekin...that is my disclaimer..

i do not understand why anyone would choose another brand of esc right now

tekin can be prgrammed for any situation
customer service is out of control..they answer there phone and walk you through any issue you have!

there small and light

and very reliable

the fact that you can update the esc to suit your tracks needs and or motor battery combo is awesome.

i admit i was real catious of tekin at the start (for good reasons) they had alot of growing pains at first..one year later they have got there act together and they are solid...every esc is made up of fets and boards..no real magic there..every new released esc they try to get them smaller and more flexible...the tekin has all those bases covered....unless you get your esc's for free i can't find any negatives with tekin esc's...

if your in the market for a new esc i would take a hard long look at tekin...

do a test..call there number and ask a few esc questions...the guys there are awesome!

small
flexible
good customer service
light weight
red

try one

Katf1sh, It's a good thing your not sponsored by Tekin. With that testimonial you should at least get a T-shirt! LOL!

I'm going to try Tekin this fall. I've had several GTB's with no trouble. A couple LRP's that worked great. I had one smoke but it has worked flawlessly since I got it back.

Have you played with the advanced TIMING and LAUNCH features?

My son has two of these he'll be playing with...but I don't think he'll get to run it on our next carpet race...

He did great with the GTB at the last race, and sometimes it's hard to change a GOOD Working setup.

I did with both. and they make a BIG difference. Off the top of my head I cant remember what I used for a particular class though. Sorry
