Just received a Carrera Evolution Pro-X Dodge Charger as a gift but I have a Scalextric Analog Sport layout. I checked the box and instructions to see if I could change it to analog but didn't find anything. Am I out of luck?

digi will run on analog,routed whatever,without mods.you may have less brakes with the digi chip in however...

You can run the Carrera PRO-X car on your analog track by disconnecting the decoder chip and running lead wires from the guide to the motor. It is also best to trim the length of the PRO-X guide to a similar length as your other analog cars.

With the 4 major digital systems only the SSD chip by Scalextric is analogue compatible, but you have no brakes.
Carrera have a switch which bypasses the chip.
