Hi folks,

it doesn´t always take silicone and resin to get a cute new slotcar!

Picked up this cheapo kind of plastic toy car (amongst some diecasts) from the customs office this morning. Found this (and many more of the Japanese Super GT series) on fleaBay a couple of weeks ago and ordered one out of curiosity.

Although they´re 1/80 scale at least the Nissan Z fits perfectly over a JL/AW T-Jet chassis (SWB!!!). Guess I´ll have to get some more soon (nice liveries and different body styles available)...!

So here we go:

Yes, I know: She´s riding a lil´ too high, although I flattened the gearplate front as well as I milled out the rear area (where the gear hit the body first) thin as paper, but who cares? A unique T-Jet body for around 3 $ (incl. worldwide shipping!!!) - what else do you want?

Greetings from Germany,

Claus

"New" diecast "victims" are tough to come by, let alone ones that fit without major surgery. It ain't like body snatching back in the old days!!... Are any of the others worth mounting up Claus? nd
