JBond mentioned in his thread of his Lost in Space chariot about painting the main clear part.

The instruction sheet said to mask inside and outside and apply the proper color (orange inside, silver or foil outside). However i was reading in FSM that all the painting process could be done all from outside. First the orange color for the interior and then the silver or foil as a second layer of color. Someone else mentioned the same technique.

Anybody have some suggestions? since I just received mine from CultTVMan shop I wish to work on it soon, but this is a real matter to consider.

Thanks!

Best regards,

Alberto

P.S. Probably this thread was mentioned before, but the forum is soooo big I prefered to take it again... :freak:

IMHO, the idea is a good one, and I can think of absolutly no idea why not. Just make certain that the orange paint has dried thoroughly before applying the silver on top of it.
However, just remember that you'll still want to paint the inside of the upper side panels in aluminum.
I think your Spock quotation applies perfectly in this situation, and think it'll turn out great!
Have fun, Alberto!
