Well after numerous requests for me to put in a dirt track I think I may just go through with it in the next month or so.

We will be putting in a smaller all electric track: 90 feet long by 50-60 feet deep. The goal will be to provide a track designed for the Traxxas Slash, and the new Associated vehicle they came out to compete with it. We would also run 1/10th scale vehicles as well. RC10’s B-4’s, T-4’s XXX’s etc.

We will not be running nitro on this track for the simple reason of I have no time to do the necessary tack maintenance it would require. The electric vehicles will make for an enjoyable, competitive QUITE afternoon of racing.

Anyone that has been to our facility to visit the store or our asphalt track knows we do not do anything half A$$ed It will all be just as nice as our other track.

Stay tuned as pictures will follow as I start.

Sounds perfect! I still like running my B4 buggy. I have a couple other cars too & I know I for one won't miss nitro at all. I've always like club racing on a reasonable & managable level. Let others run the one, two, three day events on a track you need binoculars to see. :freak:

A nice well groomed 1/10th track will be a nice addition to the local race scene.

I'm glad I did ask about it when I stopped in. I'll be looking forward to it. I hope you will run after 5 on Sat. or on Sun. Hobbytown is starting too soon this year, I don't even get off work before they start.

I couldn't agree more. Nitro gets old real fast! An electric only track would be awesome.

I'll be keeping an eye on the thread for the developments.

Does "electric only" include 1/8th electric buggies?

Any updates Freddy??

+1

I was talking with a couple other 1/1 scale guys and the idea of a 1/10 scale only track sounds great. I am ready for a little 2wd mod action!

Here is your update. As of yesterday I have most of the area for the dirt track all leveled off. I will finish it tomorrow and should have it fenced in by the end of the week.

I am doing this at my leisure. We will be running on it in do time. Its going to be strictly 1/10th scale electric’s we will be running on Saturday evenings after the ¼ scale racing.

We have power and plenty of parking for all. For anyone that has ever came here will tell you I do not do things half a$$ed. This track is going to be 100 feet by 65 feet. Or a bit wider, we will see what mood I am in when I am digging fence post. I will have pictures up at the end of the week .

The kingdom always rocks :dude:

Ok well i can give you an update. I talked to Freddy on Friday. The corner posts are set the ground is flat and the plans are sketched for the track. When Freddy gets back from vacation he will be doing more work. He wants to get 3 sides of the fence up then start moving the dirt in for all the whoops and jumps. Thats the update as of right now.
