Hello. I am in desperate need of any help I can get. Even the small engine repair guy down the road can't help me. The 6.5 hp engine on my go kart is painted over making it difficult to see model, serial or any other numbers for that matter. I have a question about the placement of three springs that are on the engine. One looks like a paper clip that's been subject to oragami and was attached to another longer spring. They seem to work in conjunction with each other but I fiddled with them in hopes of making the thing run better and viola, here I am scratching my head (among other body parts) trying to undo what I've done and I can't. It's odd. I need pictures, diagrams, pencil drawings, doodles on napkins, anything that will actually help me or point me in the right direction.

Unfortunately without any engine numbers, it would be a guess for anybody on here to advise you about how to hook up your springs. If you could perhaps post some pictures of your unit and of the springs, we may be able to help that way.
Of course if God is on this forum, I am sure he can give you the proper advise without anymore info....

A 6.5HP engine on a Go-Cart is usually a Tecumseh Power Sports engine.
