I want to thank the whole Front range group on behalf of myself and Gary Hoody. We Always have a good time when we race with you guys and are always made welcome. You guys rock and put on a great race too. I wish I had time to get my controller adjusted before jumping in and racing a gutter lane with a controller that wasn't set for t-jets I know i can drive better than my first race results show. I did better in the second race and was still trying to dial in the controller which i got set by the time I got to blue lane and actually won a heat ( I think) but it was fun and well worth the trip Gary and I yakked about our poor race luck all the way home so it was a short trip. I hope we can make it up again real soon .
Thankx Again Clyde-0-Mite

Hi:

You meet Joe Furuli and Shledon Brunn, both are great guys. Joe made the last drag race set from American Graffiti and is one hell of a resign caster.

I would suggest that all groups run some type of an IROC race. Each person in FRHO is in the process of making an IROC set. I'm in the process of helping make the 917 X-Traction set for this coming summer. Thanks again Slot Car Johnnies. I'm making myself a set of IROC G-Pus cars. It is a great way to bring every person into the group.

Here at North Coast H.O. about have of what we race is "House Cars" The sets have a lot of cars in them and you get a car by a blind draw. Your name goes on the card and you don't get to use that car again, good or bad. Sometimes you get a winner & some times it's a fourth place car. Just the luck of the draw. You might get the car that's got a lot of speed but be racing on a tight course or you might get the car that handles well with a bit less speed when we are on the big maxtrax tri-oval. Lot of luck involved but it puts more importance on the drivers rather than the builders. We try to schedule each of the series with one race at each of the tracks that we run, depending on what the cars are. Most race nights have a race for "House Cars" and a race for one of our normal classes so that it balances out pretty well.
We also use "House" controllers with the "House Cars'' which saves the time of hooking up. You just come up to the track & RACE!

......Yup!....I bought a fire truck & some 40 fords from Joe & also took a bunch of pictures of Sheldon's scratch built camper trailer....great stuff. They are planing to be back for the October show. I hope that they make it
