It looks from the illustrations in his announcement that Gil's kit includes repositioned parts... I LOVE the repositioned arm in the repel pose and the head cocked to the left!

Yep, the right arm comes with a clenched fist.

Actually, you do not see the right arm of the plastic kit in it's entireity, the right arm of the lighted 12 inch Hot Toys ACTION FIGURE has a clenched fist; THAT is the image of the COMPLETED figure on the site, the same image I posted here a few weeks ago as an inspiration for a fairly simple conversion project (see the original unedited image below). At the very least, this seems to be causing some confusion, but viewed in a less forgiving light, it could be taken to unfairly misrepresent the actual product being offered.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Hot Toys version also has a slightly larger (and more appropriate) head as well.

Jeff; I have the Hot Toys figure and the head IS larger proportionately compared to the body. But to be fair, the Moebius kit is based ENTIRELY on the ILM CG model and it appears to me the Hot Toys figure is based on the "practical" suit worn by Robert Downey Jr in the movie (and there are ALOT of differences). You can see from the in progress pics on the JAI site just how EASY it will be to get a fairly dynamic pose with the Moebius kit, but to recreate the detailing and geometry of the suit is a different matter altogether...

Tom,
I verified with Gil that the resin arm will indeed have a clenched fist, so that should clear up any confusion.

Maybe an artistic license call to make the suit seem more 'heroic' on film.

I want to make sure that there is no misunderstanding - I do include everything in my pre-wired (plug & play) kit that I mentioned, including the fist - and no trick photography. The first picture was the proto-type to provide info. of what was being offered. I just need to back up my camera next time.

Gilusions, I received my lighting kit yesterday. Thanks, it's really cool.

For the most part it seems pretty self explaining, but I do have a couple of questions:
It came with two brass tubes, one for the chest LED, what's the other one for, maybe directing light toward the head?
The circular disc of paper or foam core and the decals, are those used with the chest light?
