troopeur 04-24-2009, 04:21 PM it hard to choice only one car , the R8 and Fxx are realy nice car.
Kotetsu 04-24-2009, 06:22 PM Hmm... it's much easier to list your least favorite Kyosho cars. But if I didn't like it then that mean I don't have it to take a picture...
So what cars have you decided not buy even if it's at a low price? I don't have most of the Toyota cars, the older Skylines, and the Fiat/Lancia cars because they were not as appealing.
Josh
citylights17@ho 04-24-2009, 06:54 PM one of my favorite cars since i was little and racing t-jets (1964) in my basement.
fangios' lancia-ferrari D50. wish i could a lexan version for my BSRT G3.
sigh........... mj
a quick shot b/w seemed apropos.

I usually don't buy any of the Formula cars or other exotic looking race cars.

i buy only 1950s to late 60s sports/racing and F1 cars. they look great on my landscaped circa 1968 slot car track. unfortunately some of those are the hardest and priciest to bid/buy. since i am not a hardcore collector i don't/ won't pay crazy prices. (like the last three $50 330 P4s on ebay) so i get lucky now and then and snag a goody at a good price. so i'm not a collector in the sense that most here are. mj
kneedeep56 04-24-2009, 09:05 PM I'm not a fan of the street cars.
I might be tempted to do a few Porsches, Ferraris and Lambos in the future.
I'm not a fan of the F1 cars either.
I'll keep looking for something 'Villeneuve' as I have the same last name
and we are related although from way back when in the 1800's.
Right now I'm having too much fun with the racing stuff.
Old Porsches, Ferraris make my heart beat a little quicker.

alex1485 04-24-2009, 09:57 PM the first posters pics don't work anymore.
hookie 04-25-2009, 03:08 PM Lancia 037 in red colour is by far my favourite kyosho.
Superbird77 04-25-2009, 05:13 PM Tough decision.... these are among my favorites:
BMW CSL
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b112/superbird77/bmw_csl.jpg
Jag XJ220
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b112/superbird77/Jaguar%20XJ220/xj220_1.jpg
Lambo Espada
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b112/superbird77/Espada/espada_1.jpg
This Nissan Skyline is one of my least favorites. Paint job is lousy (lots of bubbles), tampos are misaligned and it seems they didn't put too much effort into it. But it's still ok. :)

troopeur 05-03-2009, 01:36 PM I'm waiting the BMW CSL look like a amazing car ;)
kneedeep56 05-03-2009, 07:56 PM I can't wait to see them up close and personal also :)
It looks fantastic by the pics you've posted

theArchitect 05-14-2009, 07:39 AM It's so hard to decide since I love them all, here's one of my favorite Kyosho, the VW Karmann Ghia.

Sorry for posting lots of photos of this KG, I just can't stop clicking.
Kotetsu 05-14-2009, 07:17 PM Hi Architech,
Thank you for posting the pictures. Even though the VW series from Kyosho may not have the most sexy and exotic cars in the line-up as compared to Ferrari or Lamborghini, they certianly are one of the most detailed set of cars in Kyosho's 1/64 series. I just love their accurate wheels and the tiny chrome features such as the bumpers, the head lights, etc. I haven't seen any other company producing 1/64 cars of VW classics better than Kyosho in terms of detail and accuracy.
Josh
Superbird77 05-14-2009, 07:44 PM Very nice photographs! I just received Karmann Ghia in a same color today. It's a sweet model, but would be even better if it had a side mirror.
It would be also cool if there were license plates printed on a model. Few cars from James Bond series had them and I think they look great. On some cars the rear-end just doesn't look complete without a license plate. :p
troopeur 05-14-2009, 11:00 PM I have the Blue version and I realy like this car.

Nice shots. Keep'em coming.
164hack 05-17-2009, 10:11 PM Regarding the Karmann Ghia (and Kyosho did a great job capturing the car), I've often tried to imagine the design groups discussion to the point they all, or most, said "Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!"......then again I have a hard time imagining it looking any other way.
CarCrazyDiecast 05-17-2009, 11:31 PM The pics of the 1/64 Kyoshos are superb! The Karmann Ghia is a beautiful model, all the more impressive as a 1/64.
In my neck of the woods, I have never seen ANY Kyoshos, unfortunately. The only ones I have been able to obtain were on the internet, and they were 1/18s. The four listed are the only Kyoshos in my collection:
1966 MG MGB Mk-1 convertible in white
1975 Lancia Stratos #14 Alitalia, 1975 Monte Carlo Rally car in white
1981 Ferrari 512BB Roadster in yellow
2001 BMW M3 coupe in black
Kyosho makes some very nice models.
