View Full Version : 4 cell GTB Little Buddy 04-22-2009, 11:12 PM Is anyone running lipo with a 4 cell GTB ? waderacing38@ne 04-22-2009, 11:33 PM from what ive been told you can run lipo with it as long it 4 cells or less swtour 04-23-2009, 02:00 AM LittleBuddy, what MOTOR are you wanting to run w/ LIPO and are you wanting to run 3.7v lipo or 7.4v? (You can run either...the 4 cell and regular GTB are virtually the same speed control. The 4 cell version doesn't have a Heat Sink or FAN, so if you run a Higher Powered motor, you will want to keep an eye on the temps. 21.5, 17.5 both seem to do just fine. Little Buddy 04-23-2009, 07:16 AM 3.7 volts with a 13.5 or 10.5 7.4 volts with a 21.5 ToddFalkowski 04-23-2009, 07:44 AM You'll have no problem with it. Little Buddy 04-23-2009, 01:01 PM thanks Todd Steve_B 05-02-2009, 07:18 AM I've been running a gtb 4cell in my 10.5 2c lipo sedan for 6 months:thumbsup: FLYINGFINN#8 05-02-2009, 12:55 PM I love my GTB 4c , its just as fast tekins and lrps. Maddog23x 05-07-2009, 11:45 AM so u dont have to send it back to run lipo after running nihms  NovakTwo 05-07-2009, 12:09 PM so u dont have to send it back to run lipo after running nihms  No. The GTBs all run down to 4 NiMH or 1 lipo. The speed controls do not have a 1 cell lipo cut-off circuit built-in. If you are concerned, you can use a SmartBoost. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
