Is anyone running lipo with a 4 cell GTB ?

LittleBuddy,

what MOTOR are you wanting to run w/ LIPO

and are you wanting to run 3.7v lipo or 7.4v?

(You can run either...the 4 cell and regular GTB are virtually the same speed control. The 4 cell version doesn't have a Heat Sink or FAN, so if you run a Higher Powered motor, you will want to keep an eye on the temps.

21.5, 17.5 both seem to do just fine.

3.7 volts with a 13.5 or 10.5
7.4 volts with a 21.5

No. The GTBs all run down to 4 NiMH or 1 lipo.

The speed controls do not have a 1 cell lipo cut-off circuit built-in.

If you are concerned, you can use a SmartBoost.
