Everyone, I have just received an email from a friend about the status of Slot Car World. And I quote "Frank passed away last fall and Betsy, his wife, has closed down the website until they get a better grip on what they have for inventory. His warehouse is over 300,000 sq. ft. and he has another warehouse of real 1:1 Lotus parts........ he was president of the American Lotus Club for many years." Like I said in my previous post, a great loss to the slot community, the Lotus USA club, and his family.

That is sad news. I dealt with Frank and SCW a few times in the past. He was a good guy to deal with. Its a shame. RIP Frank.

It was 1/1/09 when Slot Car World closed it's website. Has there been any word as to the disposition of the ending inventory? There are a few of us out here would still like the Artin slot cars.
