View Full Version : New Pup
Bad Dawg Slots 04-21-2009, 11:21 PM Hey guy's this is something I put together today for this Sunday's release on the flea Bay auction.I'll have the 4 molds done by Friday . It's suppose to be a Delorean Back to the future car . I's on a Tyco 440x2 chassis and the front wheels are separted and hung on two ribs trapped between the ribs and the chassis. There 4 parts to this car Body, clear glass, rear panel ,and rear exhaust section . Body since I haven't found a good way to mold silver will be molded in gray or white , Glass clear , and the two rear pieces in blk . Let me know what you think .
resinmonger 04-22-2009, 12:25 AM Oh man! I need one already. Just for a little while, yah know? :freak::drunk:
An chance of seeing a non-Back to the Future, straight up Delorean down the road? Pop them in your normal red, yellow, blue and white color pallet and let the modders do their thing with either Alclad II or BMF. :)
bobhch 04-22-2009, 12:51 AM Just mold it in Stainless Steel...ha
Bruce,
This is one nice body man...WOW!
1.) Do you know how to tell if a car is a Delorean?
The white lines disapear as it drives down the road.
2.) What kind of tires do you put on a Delorean?
Snow Tires....bu dum
Bob...Future to the back...zilla

"Welcome to CRRRazy Eddies! Buya car, get a gram, buy a car, get a gram..."
Nice job on the new pup, Bruce.
videojimmy 04-22-2009, 10:37 PM I'd buy one or three of them.
A clear version might be intereseting for the collection.
I was wondering, would a Monkee Mobile be hard?
Body in red, roof in white, shallow white interior, kinda like a faller interior.
Patto's has the decals... could be a winner.

Jimmy,
If you want a Monkee Mobile in T-Jet form Greg Gipe (alfaslot1 on Hobbytalk) makes them. Well I know he has in the past anyways. I have 1 that needs to be done up and saving it for a rainy day.
Would be very cool to get a Monkee mobile body that is readily available to all. Bruce that Batmobile you now cast is off the hook! Still waiting a bit before ordering.
Bob...Hey, Hey, Hey...zilla

Bad Dawg Slots 04-22-2009, 11:28 PM I plan on having them ready for Sundays auction ,but after Sunday anyone here can order thru e-mail . They'll be $ 9.00 each plus shipping . This coming auction will be my last chance to have dutch auctions . and then it's one piece at a time . Another way flea bay is out to scr#w the seller on ebay .Sorry but it's true .
videojimmy 04-22-2009, 11:28 PM I have a die cast on a Tomy super Gplus chassis, but I need to make an interior.
I body for a narrow tyco would be cool. You'd have to shorten the axels and bring the rims and tires closer to the chassis or it would look too cartoonish.
Hmm, maybe one for the Mega G would be even better.

Heat the mold to 140, spray lacquer, or acryllic in the mold, let it flash dry, pour in the resin. Resin will burn into the paint. Tryyy it.:) BTW I think Autoworld might be doing that with their injected bodies.
