Did you notice that the fog lamps are amber-colored instead of clear?

Does anyone know if there was actually an option of AMBER foglamps?

It looks good , but I hope it has white letter or whitewall tires on it . Blackwalls look too plain .

Hi Dave,

This car actually has a double red-line tire option that it wore as it crossed the block. The lines are hard to see in this photo but they are there.

And Steve,

The car in the auction had amber lights as well. As you all know, these Auction Block cars are recreation of actual cars that crossed the block - not always factory correct in some cases. But I do think the amber adds a nice color contrast to the grill.

Thanks,

- Matt

I didn't notice that at first, but here is the other '65 Stang from the MCG Hobby collection with clear lights. This is a great color combo too.

Again, I'm so happy to see those well proportioned styled steel wheels on the new stangs. Matt, are you able to give us any info on other newly created or re-worked wheels coming out in future Mustang releases?

Thanks,

Skip

That looks like it's going to be nice...I assume they will be doing Shelby versions as well?

It looks pretty nice. The 65/66 Fastback Mustang is one that hasn't been done really well overall in small diecast.

Hi Skip,

We currently are using a 5-spoke mag type wheel that you might have seen on the '67 Shelby in Up in Flames and will be reappearing often in the future. We also have a "Baby Moon" type wheel that was on the '67 GTO in Up in Flames. And lastly, we have a Magnum 500 style wheel that should be appearing on multiple cars over the next few releases including some Mustang items - but look for it first in MCG 10. And don't worry, we will have more on the way. I hope this helps.

Thanks,

- Matt

Thanks for the reply Matt. Regarding the Magnum 500 wheel... is this a new version or is it the same wheel that has been used on earlier releases?

Yep, Amber was a requirement in some juristictions.

Hi again Skip,

This new Magnum 500 style wheel is the same size as that styled steel wheel shown in the images here. Much smaller in width and just right in diameter. I hope everyone likes it once it makes its appearance.

Thanks,

- Matt

If it is anything like the styled steelies, I'm sure it will be great:thumbsup:
