Hello I am working on making a EDM (east coast dirt modified) Car that I can run on most any track that has a class for them, but in particular, I want to run it at JTEC in Tilton, Illinois. I have an Associated GT2 that I was planning on using for it. I have searched E-bay, and a few other companies that make EDM bodies (like macallister) and have not found any bodies to fit my chassis. All the ones I have found use the older style GT chassis, not the newer GT2. I have heard that the GT is the bomb in this category, do I just need to ditch the GT2 and go back to the older GT? I hope not, I used to be into GT's and had 4 of them at one time, sold them all off, and all the parts I had, and went with the GT2 ( I have 2) for offroad racing. Now I am getting into dirt oval and have built a 1/8 scale Latemodel, and am wanting to put together a EDM car to go with it.
So anyone that can point the way to a body, shock towers, shocks, and setup that will work on a GT2, the help will be appreciated. I will check this thread daily and keep up on the responses (if any). Thanks! Mark
