Here's the Texas Diecast Racing's entry for ThunderDome IV.

Gas-X, a '67 Nova running on a precious cache of Amoco 103 Octane White Gas.

Primered and shot Shimrin White and then Tangelo Pearl,
Intercoat Cleared and shot Black.
Decals and Details applied,
How is it possible to get those Red, Yellow and Green colors to show up using InkJet Decals over a Black background?????????

Clear InkJet Decal Paper is from Papilio.com,

Clearcoated with HOK Urethane Enamel and a healthy dose of Brilliant Gold Pearl Powder.
All Products Used Are Exclusively House Of Kolor, Of Course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to re-think the exaust thing... this works. May not be a winner (front passenger tire is sort of up in the air). I didnt want to miss this one and its going as is! It does roll... I'm happy.

Well, it turned out not very gasser-esque, a little more 'pimp-esque.' Mostly color choice I think, but it rolls straight and very free. Sorry to the winner it doesnt have the right look, good luck to all!!!

The paint color jumped out at me from all the way down the aisle and a bit of fine sharpie for the hand lettering. The pipes I was going to use ended up interfering with the wheels and I lost the windows. And after multiple tries and failures to get the chassis and body to stay together here's mine. May not survive the races but whoever gets hopefully will enjoy it.
Its a HW Passin' Gasser chassis and half the interior and a HW 41 Willys body and scoop. My first idea I spent two months on was a JL Willys CJ5 but after mods I did not like it.

The rubber band is holding it together as just a bunch or superglue holding it together.
