69Stang

While at the Mustang's 45th anniversary event, I went looking for toys in the vender area. I saw a ton of diecast (and even bought one or two) but these two just followed me home! They may not be Stang's, but they are Fords!
I had no GT40's in my 1:43 collection. And while these are not super detailed or even very high quality, they were priced right and look good in the display case.
Let's see all your GT40's. Post them in on this thread and let the fun began!

1966 GT40 MKII by Universal Hobbies / Eagle's Race (old Jouef casting)
There were 8 GT40's entered in the '66 24 Hour classic, this was one of two entered by Alan Mann Racing (the others were run under the Shelby and Holman & Moody banners). This car was driven by Graham Hill and Brian Huir. Had it ran a little longer, Jackie Stewart was also scheduled to drive. But #7 was retired after only 9 hours and 23 minutes with front suspension damage. Credited with a DNF 31st place finish.

1968 Ford GT40 MK I by Bang Models
After Ford had pulled the plug on the factory backed programs, privateers picked up the slack (with Ford's blessings). This was the winning car from the 1968 Le Mans. In the now famous Gulf livery, this John Wyer Engineering entry was piloted by Pedro Rodriguez and Lucren Bainchi.
Again, not great quality, but I did like the opening bonnet.
