Friday night, just after midnight. Long trip and I spent alot and picked up some cool cars on the way. Good seeing everyone again. Bought a set of GL Midnight Series BWFs from Stutz, FINALLY got my Green Machine from Hutt.
Everyone's crowded into Hutt and Pierre's room doing some trading and BS'ing. Had to check my email and wanted to pop in and say hello.

nick's nephew Zach was the winner of The Chase Race with a Boogie Van Ford Econoline. he won the Keystone Bud Box!!:thumbsup: the final two were the closest two racers with Stutz being the other final with i believe was a Chevy Silverado Brickyard emergency Truck ( WITH A BENT AXLE :D )!! the bud box contained a wide variety of regular diecast along with some very nice whites, hunts and greenies!!:thumbsup: congrats to both final participants in this event!
here is a video of the final race. the first pass was a 100% even race that ended up being a tie!!:eek: how often do you see that happen??

this was actually an action photo!!! i was in great danger standing in the doorway leading to the lobby when the big man caught word that nick's mom just put out a batch of freshly made cookies at the front desk!!! well... not really but it was too good of a scenario for me to pass up. :lol: she really did put out cookies and they were yummy but i think mark didn't catch wind of it yet at the time. :lol:

once again, i had a blast at this year's keystone carnival. it was great seeing some old faces along with meeting the new ones. i wish i could have stuck around longer so mark could whoop me at pool again along with eating some good grub. i apologize for not getting to say goodbye to everyone as i was really pressed for time. i never got a chance to thank mark for the brew but when i was making my rounds before leaving, i believe it was "ate noon nap time" for him. :lol:

to wrap things up, i have to show off my fantasy trophy. i did pretty good with the banger and gravity racing last year but i couldn't have picked a bigger bunch of duds this year!!!:o:lol: would anyone believe that i did not win a single pass during every event on both tracks other than two passes on the banger track?? i'm just going to pretend those two wins didn't happen and award myself this!!! :D

Hey, where'd everyone go????? Stutz, Roadwarrior, and myself just came back from Wally world with WL's from the JL 40th set. BWF Camaro fors roadwarrior, Blues Stang for me, and Black Chevelle for Stutz!!!!!

Then we woke up!!!! We are still here though, all leaving tomorrow. It was a great time, and great meeting all the Ht board members that came.

The racing was fun even though the Bangerdome winner was struck out in the custom class. My trunk was packed on the way there and a little lighter on the way home.I got in around 3am after a stop for a cheesesteak and some gaming in AC. Got a speeding ticket on the GSP that know will not be cheap. Hope to see you all again soon if not next year, I will be back.
BTW to the sat night excursion crew you owe me a left rear shock.

We had a blast again this year Nick. It was good to see all the familiar faces and meet some new ones.
Thanks to all involved with putting this together.

My wife and I had a great time at the Carnival! We arrived home about 2 hours ago. Swifty gave us (Roadwarrior and his better half, and myself and my better half) a tour of the area Sunday afternoon.. We stopped at the Hersey's Chocolate Tour, the Vanity Fair outlet shops (my wife bought a new Coach purse there......and she loves it), and Swifty's favorite Italian restaurant. THANKS Swifty!

Hoping to see everyone (and possibly some new faces to put with the HT ID's) next year at the 2010 CARnival.

Maybe we can visit the Automobile Museum next year.

You know, leaving was kind of a let down; Tena and I had such a good time! Most enjoyed the racing activities and the dinner at Zia Maria on friday...could you believe the very same waiter from last year waited on us again THIS year? Anyway, as I was telling Swifty and Nick: Advertise, advertise, ADVERTISE! Get more people in to notice us! A BIG kudos to Joanne (Nick's mom) who got me a room on the 1st floor where all the action was!

Well, i don't know where to even start. Great ride down. Friday night was cool to just get down here and see everyone. Trading, buying and selling was going on everywhere!! Zia Maria's wasa riot as always. It was cool to see Rich's favorite waiter again, even with the larger ear holes! Saturday all day was just a blurr of diecast flying everywhere. Sat night was a riot! Out to eat at the smokiest bar in the world, getting beat in pool by a local, then off to the rooms for some more mayhem, after which we packed 6 guys into a 5 passenger car out to spend money. mark, it was nice you met a friend! Good strong hand shake! LOL. You got some glitter on ya! We then went to a local choke and puke for LATE, like 3 am breakfast. They had baked oatmeal at the buffet. When i asked the waiter what I should put on it he literally and sincerely replied "A napkin."!! ROFL!!! Chpped beef and country gravy in the early morning hours does NOT make a good Sunday! HAHAHAHA!! I had a blast meeting new peopel and catching up with old pals! Stew and Rattle you guys are off the chain!!!! Rich, I feel like a jerk for selling that GTO(although Stew loved it) and I WILL make up for it! Nick, thanks again for a great weekend!!! Thanks for the people who grabbed some stuff from me and the many deals I also got!!!!! Medic, Dizzy, Rattle and even a few guys I have never really seen around all helped make it an AWESOME weekend. BTW- all my choking an dhacking turned out to be bronchitis! I will try to post some pics soon of some of my finds! Later. Oh yeah, Swifty- my Mom says Hi!!!
