View Full Version : Which Sprint Car?
markmrx 04-17-2009, 02:53 PM Looking to get a sprint car. Most people have either a Pro1 or a WCM, but I found a site that also has a sprinter. It's called the Aggressor sprint car. Has anybody else seen or had any dealings with this car(theaggressor.20m.com)? From the pics it looks like a quality pc. It is however 400.00 more than the other two sprinters. What does it have that the others don't? Is it worth the extra 400 bills...don't want to start anything negative, just trying to justify the extra dough. Any help or opinions(positive or negative) would be great.
Thanks,
Mark

Call Larry at Quarter Scale Motorsports. If I understood him correctly, the Aggressor is no longer being produced. However, I may have misunderstood.

Slider 04-17-2009, 06:28 PM Bullseye sprint is real nice.
KnoxMotorsports 04-17-2009, 11:04 PM WCM s a good sprint car also Robert:thumbsup:
FMurry8995 04-18-2009, 12:47 AM I would recomend the WCM sprinter. It is the most reasonable priced car on the market. I have run WCM sprints for many years.

BadhAbbott 04-18-2009, 02:44 AM the agressor is now bullseye sprint cars aka bobs motorsports there quality is by far the best in the market, parts are a phone call away.u wont be dissapointed by buying the best the first time......
markmrx 04-18-2009, 09:23 AM Thanks for the comments fellas. I am leaning toward the Bullseye, but WCM's new site shows there sprint being called the spyder now and is 200.00 higher(1400.00) than the old sprinter. I emailed them for some up to date pics(new site has no sprint car pics yet, just new price). I really like the fact that the Bullseye has a laydown motor, not sure what performance advantages that will do though. Maybe the new WCM has a laydown too. I also like the billet trailing arms on the Pro1 too, looks like it would be alot stronger. All the wings look a little cheezee(foam).
I know for fact you can't go wrong with Bob's motorsports for customer service.
KnoxMotorsports 04-18-2009, 11:14 AM There are many WCM sprint cars that the current owners have layed down there motors , The kit for the laydown motors are available ,and easy to install ,What ever sprint car you get all I can say is ,,they are a lot of fun racing,,, good luck makin your choice,,, Robert ,I choose WCM

dandrews 04-20-2009, 12:55 AM Mark, My name is Dennis Andrews and believe the Preator from Quarter Scale Motor Sports is also a good sprintcar. Bullseye,Pro 1, Wcm are also great cars. I believe Randy Baker, Fred Murray and alot more build very nice Sprints also. Just wanted to throw in there that the Preator won the ncs points series last year and this week-end at Dallas Fort-Worth the top 3 were all Predators. Just wanted you to know that there are alot of good Sprints to choose from and they are all great. Get the right set-up and your ready to go racing!! Just wanted you to know!! Dennis

Hi Mark,
I race a Pro1 Sprint. It’s a solid car that performs well on both dirt and Pavement. Parts are easy to get via the Pro1 website. In the right hands all the Sprints listed (by others) are good and can win races….Choose the one that appeals to “you”.

markmrx 04-20-2009, 01:14 PM Thanks for all the comments guys. I have been pointed in the right direction for sure. I'm still about a month out on having all the funds and will use this time to do a little more lookin' and talkin' to peeps about the sprints. Kinda looks like any brand can win, as long as you know how to set them up. I do think I will mainly run on asphalt though. Thanks again and keep the comments coming...need all the advice I can get.

jeffdavis38 04-20-2009, 11:11 PM Mark,
You are right about any brand winning. All are good cars and all are fast with the right setup. some are cheaper than others but all are good cars. I sell 4 different sprinters. Bullseye, Predator, Pro 1, and WCM. If you have any questions just email me or call me at 864_580_3846:thumbsup:
